New week, same ol’ BS, right?
The Strait is open. Or is it closed? We’re having peace talks, wait, no we’re not...I can’t keep track of anything anymore.
Except one thing: The Primaries are May 5 and early voting is open! Tell the party how you’re leaning with your vote, the Democrats need all the feedback they can get and the Republicans...well, everyday they separate a lil from MAGA, so if you’re reading this and you’re a Never Trumper, the time has never been more prime to vote your way into the future.
Monday, the Hoffner Park team was small but mighty.
The Harrison bridge team just keeps getting stronger.
Thursday is a two bridge day, first in the morning on Montgomery...
And the team is growing on Monmouth!
Friday morning we were out on Deerfield.
And two bridges again in Lockland.
And a very rainy Tesla Saturday!
But skies were blue again for Plainfield on Sunday.
This week you can tell elections are approaching because the schedule is STACKED. The NonViolent NonCooperation Trainings continue tomorrow, Tuesday. There’s several election/campaign events upcoming and we’re on the bridges/streets almost every single day. Come join us!
MONDAY APRIL 20
The Honk n Wave team is basically out right now, I’m behind schedule as usual.
There’s a Red Wine and Blue Primary Postcards meeting tonight at 6pm at the Forest Park Library
Also, you can Meet the Candidates in Warren County at Ironwood Grill tonight.
The Greater Pleasant Ridge democrats are having a meeting tonight at 4411 Montgomery Rd at 6:30pm
The Payne Chapel AME & Coalition of Concerned Citizens is hosting Butler County Civics 105 at 6pm Bethel AME in Middletown. The address is 1507 Yankee Rd.
TUESDAY APRIL 21
Part Two of NonViolent Training continues at the Price Hill Library from 6pm - 8pm.

UC is trying to become a Sanctuary Campus, have you heard? They’re hosting a Sit-In at the Board of Trustees. They’ll get started at 8am at Digital Futures Room 140.
WEDNESDAY APRIL 22
The Harrison Bridge team will be out Wednesday at 4:45pm - Fun Fact: Because Arby’s wasn’t particularly cool about the team parking there, the crew heads to Starbucks after every Wednesday demonstration to give them some business and commiserate.
And swing by Deer Park Library after that to learn how to crochet while discussing The Culting of America by Daniella Mestyanek Young (we’re starting off with just the first three chapters!)
Red Wine and Blue is having a Banned Book Bingo night at the Sharonville Library starting at 6:30pm
THURSDAY APRIL 23
Thursday is a two bridge day, on Montgomery...
And Monmouth!
There’s a Worker’s Memorial Commemoration event at UAW Local 863 Union Hall starting at 5:30pm - Amy Acton is the keynote speaker.
Have you heard of the NAH? They’re the Northside, Mt Airy College Hill Democrats. Come say hi at their meeting Thursday night at 6:30pm at Just Q’in.
FRIDAY APRIL 24
Friday we’ll be back on the bridges!
Clermont Co Brewing Change Coffee Klatch will be as it always is, Friday at 4pm. They’ll have Data Center petitions, so if you haven’t signed - get on out there!
At 4pm Christy will be at Qamaria in Mason for a coffee chat (and Wyoming Comm Coffee Saturday morning at 10am)
If you’re available at Noon, the Cara Jacob campaign is doing postcards at Moonflower Coffee Collective.
SATURDAY APRIL 25
The Tesla crew will be back at it Saturday at 11am on Ridge - park at Jack in the Box.
Saturday is another FULL DAY training for NonViolence. This week they’ll be at the Price Hill Main Library starting at 10am.

You can sign the Strike Pledge this Saturday at Findlay Market from Noon - 2.
The new ongoing Saturday singing demonstration will be happening at Fountain Square on 4/25 - Cincy Singing at 3pm!
Giff and the Ground Truth team will be out canvassing again in Norwood from 11am - 2pm on Saturday. Come join the fun!
The Butler Co Dems will also be canvassing in Oxford starting at 10:30am
If you feel like getting your Community Service on, the Brigid Kelly Day of Action is also Saturday. They’ll be starting at the Norwood Municipal Lot at 10am
The Payne Chapel AME Church and Blessed Tomorrow are hosting a National Faith & Climate Forum Saturday from 12 - 5:30pm at 300 South Front St in Hamilton.

Our new Sunday overpass on Plainfield road is growing and recruiting new Bridge Wavers. Come join the fun at 1pm. There’s nothing else on the docket this Sunday!

MUST WATCH OF THE WEEK
I share Jon Stewart a lot, I know. But last Monday, his two guests left me moved to tears over their book The Future is Peace. Aziz Abu Sarah is a Palestinian whose family was touched by Israeli violence. Maoz Inon is an Israeli whose family was touched by Palestinian violence. But instead of letting their grief be radicalized, they joined forces to promote peace. It’s uplifting, it’s touching, it’s inspiring. And I’m ordering my copy now.
