MAY DAY!
This week’s May Day seems a lot more optimistic than last year’s, am I wrong?
Blue is rising in the polls as fascism’s popularity declines worldwide.
Last week, we were as per usual, out nearly every single day starting on Monday with the Hoffner Park team.
The Harrison bridgeadiers had a good week.
Thursday is a two bridge day, first in the morning on Montgomery...
And a great turnout on Monmouth!
Friday morning was also double bridges on Deerfield...
And Lockland.
Saturday the sun was shining on Tesla.
And for Plainfield on Sunday.
Sunday was the last Sunday of the month, which can only mean one thing: POTLUCK FOR THE PEOPLE!
But the Potluck is in danger. With 3CDC poised to take over Piatt Park’s lease, foodserves are in jeopardy. There is a weekly foodserve at Piatt Park every week. Now more than ever they need volunteers and donations to serve food, organize donations and pick up trash to show that we are self sustaining and doing only good work. Piatt Park needs YOU!
Last weekend, we also interviewed both candidates for the Democratic Primary for Ohio District 1’s House congressional seat. If you’re on the fence about who to vote for next week, here’s the full video links!
As always, Coffee. Compassion. Action! has endorsed a competitive primary, but not a particular candidate. Pick your favorite and we look forward to supporting the primary winner in the general election.
MONDAY APRIL 27
The Honk n Wave team was out tonight at 4. There were a couple of events today as well - The City East Dems were at Local Post East End Eatery and a Coalition of Concerned Citizens held a Civics 412 Meeting at Payne Chapel. Sorry I didn’t get the letter out in time crew! Potluck weekends are always crazy.
TUESDAY APRIL 28
Part One of NonViolent Training starts over Tuesday night at the Hyde Park Library from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

There’s also a rally for Amy Acton tomorrow at 4pm at the Hamilton County BOE.
The Springfield Township Action Committee is meeting at High Grain in Brentwood, featuring Ayman Soliman starting at 6:30pm.
And Braver Angels has a Coffee Convo at the Winton Panera at 10am.
WEDNESDAY APRIL 29
The Harrison Bridge team will be out Wednesday at 4:45pm - Fun Fact: Because Arby’s wasn’t particularly cool about the team parking there, the crew heads to Starbucks after every Wednesday demonstration to give them some business and commiserate.
The Butler County Dems are having a social gathering at Grainworks Wednesday at 6pm.
THURSDAY APRIL 30
Thursday is a two bridge day, on Montgomery...
And Monmouth!
There’s a David Pepper Meet n Greet hosted by the Harrison dems - RSVP for the address.
And there will be a This Scene Kills Fascism Night of Art and Music at Woodward Theater Thursday night as well.
FRIDAY MAY 1
We’re kicking off MAY DAY on the bridges!
Clermont Co Brewing Change Coffee Klatch will be as it always is, Friday at 4pm. They’ll have Data Center petitions, so if you haven’t signed - get on out there!
At 2pm there is a downtown solidarity rally.
After the rally swing by Burnet Woods for the DSA potluck!
There’s a full day event on Bridging Faith, Community and Mental Health starting at 8:30am at the Kemba Credit Union in Westchester.

SATURDAY MAY 2
The Tesla crew will be back at it Saturday at 11am on Ridge - park at Jack in the Box.
Saturday is another FULL DAY training for NonViolence. This week they’ll be at the Milford/Miami Township branch Library starting at 10am.

Women Run is walking the Flying Pig 5k Saturday starting at 9am on Mehring Way.
The new ongoing Saturday singing demonstration will be happening at Fountain Square on 4/25 - Cincy Singing at 3pm!
The Butler Co Dems will be out canvassing again in Oxford
And later that night in Silverton, there’s an 80’s Alternative Night featuring the Blue Eighty Band at Silverton Cafe.

Our new Sunday overpass on Plainfield road is growing and recruiting new Bridge Wavers. Come join the fun at 1pm. There’s nothing else on the docket this Sunday!
