Hey there, caffeinated resisters!
How many of you were out yesterday in Blue Ash? It’s been a minute since our March No Kings but it’s the biggest resistance crowd I’ve seen since then. Thanks to Suuzz and Dave for the photos!
Did you miss it yesterday? No worries. Homeland Security is having another of these events next Sunday, so we’ll be there!

I was using an outdated map! Ohio is so rigged I didn’t have the most recent rigging. Thanks to Jackie for sending me the newer map which will go into effect once this November’s candidate’s take office.
Indivisible has identified two congressional districts in our outside area that are deemed FLIPPABLE (District 10 - Kara Knickerbocker and District 15 - Don Leonard) Additionally, there is one in our immediate area that is a Must Hold (District 1 - Greg Landsman)
There are three ways to help FLIP THIS BITCH:
Canvass with an individual candidate
Canvass with the direct party (Democrat, Working Families)
Canvass with Organizations like Indivisible or Ground Truth
Noticing a theme here?
That’s right. If we want to sway the levers of democracy away from authoritarianism we have to knock on doors. And phone bank. And register new voters. And (to a lesser extent) write postcards.
We have to get out of our comfort zones, more than we already have by being in the streets.

MONDAY AUGUST 3
The Hoffner team is basically out right now. They were out last week at this time. They’ll be out next week at this time. They never stop never stopping.
TUESDAY AUGUST 4
The weekly prayer at Butler Co Jail is happening at 10am.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 5
Wednesday, local Red Wine and Blue organizers are welcoming activist Rebecca Surendorff for a sit down on how to impact Ohio. They’ll be at the Market at Be at 6pm Wednesday night.
The weekly protest at Hoffner continues at 5pm. Topics for demonstration include Free Palestine, Abolish ICE and Trans rights.
Ohio District 45 candidate Jayson Ameer Rasheed is hosting a Small Business Summit at 6pm at Moka & Co in Westchester.

THURSDAY AUGUST 6
Thursday we’ll be on the bridge in Montgomery!
Congressional District 8 candidate Vanessa Enoch is having a West Side Meet n Greet at 5:30 at Keller’s Cheviot Cafe.
Looking for the MonmouthBridge? They’re on hold while captain Mike is out of town and should resume in September.
FRIDAY AUGUST 7
Friday we’re starting off on the bridges!
Dayton is joining us this Friday! They’ll be on the Austin Blvd bridge over I75 at 7am.
There’s a period-kit back to school event in Mason at 9:30am on Friday. They’ll be at Kala Coffeehouse.
Clermont Co Brewing Change Coffee Klatch will be as it always is, Friday at 4pm back at Bean & Brew!
SATURDAY AUGUST 8
Saturday is for TESLA! Come hang with the COOL cats in the shade, register voters and blow kisses to the haters!
If you haven’t taken Cincinnati Resistance’s NonCooperation Training, there’s a full session Saturday at the Groesbeck library starting at 1pm.
There’s a Middletown Rally on Towne Blvd at 1pm. The topic is None of this is Normal!
The canvassers are out! Come join them in Hyde Park this time at 10am
The Bradner campaign will be out in Colerain starting at 10am
The Butler Co Dems will be out in the rural areas on Saturday starting at 10am.
SUNDAY AUGUST 9
We’ll be kicking off Sunday in Blue Ash in support of our Springfield neighbors effected by the lifting of Temporary Protected Status.

Then we’re having BRUNCH and Ballots on the Westside at 11am. RSVP to this email for the address, let us know how many you’ll have coming.
The Plainfield bridge is reorganizing due to some ordinance issues, we’ll keep you posted if a new location pops up.
The Working Families Party is also hosting a Welcome Gathering at the Downtown Library Sunday at 1pm.
And Giff and the Ground Truth team will be taking on East Price Hill again this Sunday starting at 1pm

I should call the last two videos my ArchVillain series, because why am I platforming Max Miller?
Because DISTRICT 7 IS OFFICIALLY IN PLAY.
Ever listened to someone on the wrong side of a custody battle and find yourself feeling drowned in a cesspool of excuses?
It’s giving this.
Max Miller’s statement is all defense, no brakes. He released this live statement (which many thought would be his announcement that he was dropping out of the District 7 race) in response to some horrifying allegations from not only his ex wife, but other women in his life going back to his high school days.
Miller says in the video she’s the only accuser, but the lie detector test determined that that was a lie. He comes off guilty as sin. I hate to side with Bernie Moreno here, but...day-um.
He’s not dropping out. And it’s cringe-worthy.
